asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will simplify the procedure for making small payments of money to persons living in Western Europe.

Mr. Barber

I think that the present procedure is as simple as possible, given the need to maintain control of capital movements. If my hon. Friend has any suggestion to make, I will certainly be pleased to consider it.
