§ 60. Mr. C. Osborneasked the Minister of Transport what report he has received from the appropriate consultative committee regarding the estimated annual saving which would result from the closing of the single line from Louth to Mablethorpe; and if he will refer to the committee for their consideration the recent information on this matter sent to him by the hon. Member for Louth.
§ Mr. HayI understand that a proposal by the Eastern Region of British Railways to close this line will be submitted soon to the Transport Users Consultative Committee for the East Midland Area. It is open to my hon. Friend to send the Committee any information which he thinks may be of value to it.
