HC Deb 20 November 1959 vol 613 c168W
Dr. King

asked the Minister of Education if he will circulate in the Official Report a list of all the comprehensive schools in England and Wales.

Sir D. Eccles

In January, 1959, there were 111 such schools. Since the list is a very long one, I am sending it to the hon. Member and explaining that the main reason for the increase of 25 over the total for January, 1958, is the reclassification of existing schools in London.
