§ Mr. H. Hyndasked the Minister of State for Commonwealth Relations what arrangements he makes in respect of persons entering the High Commission Territories in order to escape the process of the law in the Union of South Africa.
§ Mr. AlportEntry into the High Commission Territories is governed by the Basutoland Entry and Residence Proclamation, 1958, as amended, the Bechuanaland Protectorate African Immigration Proclamation, 1958, and the Swaziland African Immigration Proclamation, 1959. The surrender of fugitive offenders, when requested, is governed by the Fugitive Offenders Act, 1881.
