HC Deb 17 November 1959 vol 613 c123W
122. Mr. Harold Davies

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if he will make a statement on the progress of official talks with the West German Government with regard to the future of Germany.

Mr. R. Allan

I am not sure what exactly the hon. Member has in mind. There are no specific talks in progress. The hon. Member will however be aware that the Federal German Chancellor, Dr. Adenauer, arrives in this country today for a three-day visit. This visit will provide a welcome opportunity to review problems of common interest.
