§ Mr. Iain MacleodThere was a plebiscite in the Northern Cameroons on the 7th November at which a majority voted in favour of deferring a 111W decision on the future of the territory until a later date. We shall now consider the implications of this result, which I emphasise represents only a decision to defer the decision. The United Nations resolution on the future of the Southern Cameroons was summarised in my reply to the hon. Member for Eton and Slough (Mr. Brockway) on 3rd November.
