Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will make a statement on the conference, at which Her Majesty's Government was represented, to consider 113W revision of the federal constitution of the Federation of the West Indies, indicating what subjects were discussed, what decisions were reached, and what steps Her Majesty's Government proposes to take in consequence.

Her Majesty's Government will await the reports of the Committees which have been set up to enable progress to be made when the Conference is reconvened.
