§ Mr. Woodburnasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what consultations have been held with the National Coal Board to ensure that the proposed closing of the Zetland Colliery does not endanger now, or in the future, Alloa's water supply from the Gartmorn Dam.
§ Mr. MaclayI understand that there have been no recent consultations between Alloa Town Council and the Board on this subject; but the Town Council has an agreement with the Board whereby support will be ensured for the reservoir if the pit is closed.
