§ Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is aware that in May, 1959, the son of parents resident in Aberdeen was a patient in Caldwell House, near Glasgow, while the child of parents resident in Glasgow was a patient in Woodlands, near Aberdeen, and that the parents of both children sought the relevant exchange of children for reasons of economy and convenience in visiting them; and whether such an exchange may now be effected.
§ Mr. MaclayI am aware that there is a child in Caldwell House whose parents reside in Aberdeen. He will be admitted to Woodlands House as soon as a suitable vacancy arises. I have no knowledge, however, of any child in Woodlands whose parents live in Glasgow and have been seeking their child's transfer to Caldwell House.
