§ 71 and 72. Mr. Anthony Greenwoodasked the Minister of Transport (1) when work will start on the Edenfield by-pass;
(2) when he anticipates that work will be started on by-passing the level crossing at Rawtenstall.
§ Mr. J. HayIt is now clear that a single by-pass for both Edenfield and Rawtenstall would be more satisfactory than separate schemes. We are taking steps to establish the line of this combined by-pass as soon as practicable, but I cannot say yet how soon constructional work can be started.
