Alien stowaways are usually refused leave to land under the Aliens Order and removed by the carrying company: 820 were so dealt with during the last five 171W years. Stowaways who satisfy the Immigration Officer that they are British subjects cannot be sent back: but I do not think that such persons present a problem sufficient to justify legislation.
