§ 60. Mr. J. Johnsonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he now proposes to move the camp commandant and other members of the staff at Hola 165W Camp, Kenya, who were implicated in the beatings of the detainees who have since died.
§ 62. Mrs. Castleasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he is yet in a position to state what charges are being preferred by the Attorney-General of Kenya in connection with the deaths of 11 detainees in Hola Camp.
§ 63 and 64. Mr. K. Robinsonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies (1) what decision has been reached by the Attorney-General of Kenya with regard to the preferring of charges arising out of the Hola incident;
(2) if he is now able to announce his decision regarding the future of the camp commandant at Hola, pending further inquiries by the Attorney-General of Kenya.

§ 61. Mr. J. Johnsonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what are the numbers of the staff at Hola Camp, Kenya; and how many of these have qualifications and previous experience of prison work.
§ Mr. J. AmeryThere are now at Hola Camp a Superintendent of Prisons, two Assistant Superintendents, a Chief Officer, three Principal Officers and 247 subordinate prisons staff. The gazetted officers have had considerable and varied service both as officers-in-charge of prisons and detention camps and in administration. The subordinate staff have all undergone a training course at the Prison Training School at Kamiti.
