§ Mr. G. M. Thomsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a progress report on the programme of technical education building announced in February, 1956, giving the value of the projects so far completed, the number of extra places provided, and the estimates of completed projects and places by the end of 1959.
§ Mr. MaclayWork valued at £9.9 million has been authorised. Projects costing £247,000 and providing 342 places have been completed and others valued at £236,000 providing a further 454 places are expected to be completed by the end of the year.
