§ Mr. Patrick Maitlandasked the Postmaster-General the average weekly flow of postal mail to Douglas and Douglas, West, in the County of Lanark throughout 1958 and in the latest convenient period in 1959.
§ Mr. MarplesContinuous records of delivered mail are not kept, but in October, 1958, the weekly total was approximately 4,500 letters and 90 parcels and in April, 1959, 4,350 letters and 130 parcels. There is scope at the delivery office for dealing with more mail than is handled at present.
