asked the Minister of Health (1) why there are more than 1,300 people waiting for operations on the Barnsley Becket Hospital waiting list; and what steps are being taken to reduce this figure;

(2) why there are more than 600 people on the operations waiting list at Barnsley St. Helen Hospital; and what steps are being taken to reduce this figure.
