§ Colonel Beamishasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, on the basis of information officially available to him through the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, which countries other than those that have set up committees or are about to do so, are known to be going to participate in the World Refugee Year; and how many countries will be taking part so far as is known at present.
§ Mr. R. AllanMy right hon. and learned Friend has been informed by the Office of the Special Representative for the World Refugee Year of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and by Her Majesty's Representatives abroad that Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China Denmark, Finland, Guatemala, The Holy See, Luxembourg, Monaco and Sweden have now joined those countries participating in the World Refugee Year. From information now available it therefore appears that thirty countries will support the World Refugee Year.
