§ 78. Mr. Iremongerasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance how many applicants for unemployment pay as a result of redundancy in the Ford Motor Company works at Dagenham have been unable to obtain unemployment pay; and for what reasons.
§ Miss PittI am not aware of any redundancy at these works. But I understand that the question whether workers who lost their employment between 23rd February and 9th March as the result of a stoppage of work due to a trade dispute are entitled to unemployment benefit is under appeal.
