§ 91. Mr. Callaghanasked the Minister of Labour why Anthony Viggers, of 19, Connaught Road, Roath, Cardiff, was passed A.1 for Army service under the National Service Act, in view of the fact that he had recently been discharged as medically unfit when serving as a regular soldier.
§ Mr. Iain MacleodAt the time Mr. Viggers was called for medical examination it was not known that he had been discharged from the Army on medical grounds. Mr. Viggers has not been notified of a medical grading and, as the hon. Member has already been informed, he is not being called up.
