§ Mr. Robert Cookeasked the Postmaster-General whether the Television Advisory Committee has yet advised him 136W in regard to the Los Angeles Conference of the Comité Consultative Internationale Radiocommunication, in view of the fact that the conference will be discussing common standards for television in Bands IV and V.
§ Mr. K. ThompsonA decision on line standards in Bands IV and V must depend on consideration of a report from the Television Advisory Committee. That report is still awaited. In the meantime the Chairman has sent my right hon. Friend a letter on the subject referred to by the hon. Member which I have placed in the Library.
