§ 41. Mr. Rossasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation when he proposes to visit Ayrshire; and if, pending that visit, he will withdraw his decision rejecting a tunnel project at Prestwick airport.
§ Mr. HayI plan to visit a number of aerodromes in Scotland, including Prestwick, soon after Easter, but I must make it clear that my right hon. Friend is not prepared to alter his decision as regards a tunnel project at Prestwick. This would in any case, now delay the extension of the runway to an unacceptable extent.
