§ 75. Mr. Swinglerasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will publish in HANSARD the full texts of the warning he received from the Governor of Nyasaland on 26th February and the Governor's statement to the Press on 2nd March.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydIt would not be in the public interest for me to disclose the full text of the telegram which I received from the Governor on 26th February. As to the second part of the Question, the Governor issued no statement to the Press on 2nd March, but he did hold a Press Conference and answered a number of questions. I have placed in the Library a copy of the transcription of the shorthand note made at the time.
