§ Mr. E. L. Mallalieuasked the Minister of Health what steps he will take to ensure that more physiotherapy is available at Scunthorpe to avoid the long waits imposed on patients in need of it.
§ Mr. R. ThompsonI am not aware that patients at Scunthorpe are having to wait long for physiotherapy, except for short-wave diathermy, for which the waiting period is about four weeks, owing to temporary staffing difficulties. If the hon. Member will let me have details of any cases in which hardship is being caused I will be glad to look into them.
