§ 40. Mr. Malcolm MacMillanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he has now considered the application by the Ross, and Cromarty County Council for financial assistance towards the construction of the proposed Ness-Tolsta 10W Road in the Isle of Lewis; and what is his decision.
§ Mr. N. MacphersonMy right hon. Friend has received a letter in general terms from the county council asking whether favourable consideration could be given to this scheme. He is considering this request in the light of the funds which can be made available for major improvements and new construction in 1959–60.
