asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty (1) how many small craft over 60 feet have been sold since 1st January, 1958, showing each month, separately;

(2) if he will give a list of the small craft over 60 feet sold since 1st January, 1958; and if he will state the amount received for these craft.

Ninety-four small craft of between 60 and 140 feet have been sold since 1st January, 1958. It is contrary to Admiralty practice to disclose the amounts received for them. The monthly disposal figures are as follows:

I have no definite information on this point, but I estimate that 75 per cent. were purchased for re-sale and the remainder for the purchasers' private use.
