§ Mr. Russellasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation what assistance he is giving to Wembley Borough Council in their efforts to acquire a site for car-parking near Wembley Park Station.
§ Mr. WatkinsonI understand that the London Transport Executive has agreed that part of the sports ground of the London Transport (Metropolitan Railway) Athletic Association shall be leased to the Wembley Borough Council. This would provide parking space for some 75 cars. The terms of the lease are under negotiation.
