§ 62. Mr. Malcolm MacPhersonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies, in view of the fact that officially-sponsored colonial students of banking and insurance in the United Kingdom have difficulty in making arrangements to obtain practical experience, whether he will take steps to resolve this difficulty.
§ Mr. J. AmeryAn overseas student can only obtain practical experience in this specialised field in the United Kingdom by secondment from a banking or insurance firm of which he is already a regular employee. If the hon. Member will send me particulars of any cases where difficulties have arisen in regard to colonial students I will certainly look into them.
