Dr. Summerskillasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he is aware of the desirability of holding a seminar on the status of women in African territories for which Her Majesty's Government are responsible; and if he will invite the United Nations Commission on Human Rights to organise a regional seminar on the same lines as that held in Bangkok in August, 1957.
