ThompsonI understand that the Newcastle Regional Hospital Board is considering the inclusion in its programme for next year of building work to the value of some£10,000 at the Sunderland Maternity Hospital, but other even more urgent claims on the funds available have so far prevented the Board from undertaking any large-scale extension.
