§ Mr. John HareThe loans made by the White Fish Authority are provided from funds advanced by the Exchequer132W at interest rates reflecting those at which the Exchequer can itself borrow for corresponding periods. The recent increase of ⅛ per cent. for loans for not more than fifteen years follows a corresponding increase in the Exchequer lending rate which was notified to the Authority on 11th June.
