§ 69. Mr. Ernest Daviesasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation the number of C-licensed vehicles at September, 1938, and 1959, respectively, and, on the assumption that the rate of increase continues, the number estimated to be licensed by 1969.
§ Mr. NugentThe number of C-licensed vehicles at 30th June, 1938, was 365,025, and at 31st March, 1959, was 1,108,532. Carrying forward this rate of increase to 1969 would give a figure of about 1.6 million.
