§ Mr. Georgeasked the President of the Board of Trade what steps are being taken to make known to industrialists abroad the advantages of locating factories in this country and, in particular, in those places where inducements are available under the Distribution of Industry Acts.
§ Sir D. Eccles"Make it in Britain", a booklet produced by the Board of Trade, has been sent to manufacturers in Canada and the United States of America who might be interested in establishing factories in the United Kingdom. It answers a number of questions about manufacturing conditions here and refers to the facilities available under the Distribution of Industry Acts. I am arranging for the booklet to be made available at Embassies, and at all Trade Commissioner posts in the Commonwealth. I am sending a copy to my hon. Friend.
