§ 66. Mrs. L. Jegerasked the Minister of Health what is the total number of recognised training places available for student chiropodists; what plans he has for increasing training facilities; and what is the total estimated number of chiropodists needed to provide an adequate service throughout the country.
§ Mr. R. Thompson235 in England and Wales. These greatly exceed the number of students and there is, therefore, no present need to increase them. I think it would be unwise to attempt a precise estimate of the number of chiropodists required until there has been more experience of the need for treatment.
