§ Mr. GodberMy right hon. Friend is not at present satisfied that it is necessary for him to seek powers to introduce legislation for this purpose. The voluntary Crop Protection Products Approval Scheme run by my Ministry and the Department of Agriculture for Scotland provides farmers with a list of officially approved crop protection products, classified according to the active chemical ingredients.
