§ Mr. Walker-SmithThe Board of Governors has been in consultation with the Regional Hospital Board and is making arrangements to inform general practitioners that the waiting lists at other hospitals in the Manchester area are shorter than at St. Mary's; I shall bear in mind the proposal for a new maternity hospital in Manchester when I am next in a position to announce a further list of major schemes to be financed centrally.
