§ 63. Mr. Blenkinsopasked the Minister of Health what arrangements he is making to ensure that qualified chiropodists are employed in schemes for chiropody services submitted to him by local health authorities in cases when it is proposed to use voluntary organisations.
§ Mr. Walker-SmithWhere a local health authority decides to arrange for the provision of a chiropody service wholly or in part by contributing to a voluntary organisation, I would expect the authority, through its medical officer of health, to satisfy itself that a reasonable standard of service would be provided.
