HC Deb 04 June 1959 vol 606 cc47-8W
91. Mr. Hamilton

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty what steps he has taken to publicise the advantages of the Donibristle site, in Fife, for industrial development; and how many firms have shown an active interest in the matter.

Mr. T. G. D. Galbraith

The Admiralty and our industrial estate agents have fully publicised the advantages of the Donibristle site for industrial purposes. Full particulars have been given to the Scottish Council (Development and Industry) and to the Fife County Council, who are also doing all they can to advertise the property. In addition, my right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade has brought the facilities to the notice of suitable firms known to be seeking premises. A small number of firms are showing an active interest.
