§ 49. Sir A. V. Harveyasked the Prime Minister if he will make representations to the President of the United States of America regarding the delay in granting the rights for British Overseas Airways Corporation to operate between Tokyo and the United States of America.
§ The Prime MinisterRepeated representations have been made to the United States authorities, both here and in Washington, on this subject and I feel sure that the President realises the importance which Her Majesty's Government attach to the grant of the permit without further delay.
