§ Mr. Iain MacleodAt 13th July, 1959, the total number of wholly unemployed persons on the registers of the Gateshead Employment Exchange and Youth Employment Office was 1,403, of whom 223 had been on the registers for two weeks or less, 252 from two to eight weeks and 928 for more than eight weeks.
§ Mr. Randallasked the Minister of Labour if he will state the percentage of unemployment for the combined area of Blaydon, Felling, Gateshead and Prudhoe Employment Exchanges, and the Blaydon and Gateshead Youth Employment Offices, at the most convenient dates in the months of March April, May, June, and July, 1959, respectively.
