Duncanasked the Secretary of State for Scotland to what extent he has investigated the operation of the provisions of the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries (Protection) (Scotland) Act, 1951, relating to the weekly close time; and when he will cause a report on the investigation to be laid before Parliament.
§ Mr. MaclayThe investigation has been carried out and I am expecting the report to be submitted to me shortly. I shall lay it before Parliament as soon as possible.
