§ Sir D. EcclesNo, the present membership of the Committee covers persons with experience of consumer problems affecting all types of families.
§ 28. Mr. G. Darlingasked the President of the Board of Trade whether the Committee on Consumer Protection will arrange to receive complaints of trading practices from members of the public, and if so whether he can state what these arrangements will be.
§ Sir D. EcclesIt will be for the Committee, as an independent body, to decide the methods of its inquiry, but I am sure they would welcome evidence in a suitable form from the public.
