§ 76. Mrs. Braddockasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is aware that the Metropolitan Police are not provided with the type of uniform which allows the discarding of the jacket in very warm weather; and if, in view of the discomfort experienced by the police on duty in and about the Palace of Westminster, and in the Metropolitan area, he will arrange that the men are provided with uniforms similar to those provided for the Liverpool City Police and other forces.
