Bennettasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance whether, in view of the hardship experienced by retirement pensioners, in seaside resorts and other areas where seasonal work is only available for short periods each year, owing to the fact that their earnings for disregard purposes have to be assessed on a weekly basis, he will receive a deputation of Members interested to discuss the problems arising from this earnings rule.
