§ Mr. SoamesThe British Forces Network provides news, information and entertainment for members of the forces in Germany. A good deal of material is relayed from the normal services of the B.B.C. In broadcasts originating in B.F.N. care is taken to avoid matters of controversy and scripts are normally required to be seen by the staff of the station before broadcast. In case of difficulty the matter is referred to the Service authority concerned.
