Ian Orr-EwingThis question presumably refers to the Type 14 frigates, some of which are employed on fishery protection duties in Icelandic waters. 97W Severe and prolonged sea and weather conditions experienced by these ships have highlighted certain structural weaknesses which have been remedied on all ships engaged on fishery protection in Icelandic waters. The remaining ships of this type will have the necessary work carried out when they come in hand for refitting. I am confident that the troubles will be overcome by the measures which are being adopted.
