§ Mr. Patrick Maitlandasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether, in view of the accident which occurred on Busby Road, East Kilbridge, near Spring-bank Bridge, on 31st December, 1958, he is satisfied with the road safety precautions there.
§ Mr. MaclayThe road surface was icebound at the time of the accident. I authorised a grant for the improvement of this road in August last and I understand that the work will begin in the near future.
