asked the President of the Board of Trade the policy of Her Majesty's Government towards the reopening of negotiations for a trade agreement between the United Kingdom and Roumania.

We should like to reopen discussions with the Roumanian Government on the related questions of trade and a settlement of our financial claims. Despite reminders we have had no reply to proposals we put forward more than two years ago.
