Mr. Nabarroasked the President of the Board of Trade which of the industries liable to Purchase Tax at 30 per cent. or 60 per cent. for which he is at present responsible, have made known to him that these rates of Purchase Tax are interfering with their efficiency of production and their export trade; and what steps he has taken in each case to verify these claims.
