§ 72. Mr. Rankinasked the Minister of Labour what were the total numbers of registered unemployed persons in Glasgow at the latest convenient date; what were the comparable numbers for 1958; and, of these, at both dates, how many were school leavers.
§ Mr. Wood32,590 on 9th February, 1959, of whom 274 were school leavers. A year ago there were 19,971 unemployed, but comparable figures for school leavers are not available.
