HC Deb 24 February 1959 vol 600 c143W
Mr. Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in any peace treaty with Germany, he will seek to ensure that service in the German armed forces is forbidden to any person sentenced for crimes against peace, against humanity and because of war crimes or otherwise found guilty of offences by the International Military Tribunal in Nuremberg.

Mr. R. Allan

I cannot anticipate Her Majesty's Government's attitude on particular points of detail in any discussions leading to a German Peace Treaty.
