asked the Secretary to the Treasury what would be the net increases in pay for a married man without children, after tax and Surtax, receiving salary increases from £6,500 to £7,500, £6,000 to £7,000, £4,250 to £5,000, £3,400 to £3,800, and £2,700 to £3,000, respectively.
